This area of Surrey is dotted with some pleasant and convivial pubs; on the green at Leigh, near Reigate, the Plough is a popular honest local serving Badger beers and decent home cooked food such as seabass fillet, venison casserole or pie of the day, all tipping the £10 mark. The main bar is plain and simple with scrubbed wooden tables, farmhouse chairs and benches, and a dart board. The dining room is slightly smarter with rustic beams.
