The Churchill Arms
It would be hard to find a more traditional London pub than the Churchill Arms. Praised by press and customers alike, it offers consistently great beers, excellent food and good service. Manager Gerry O'Brien has run the Churchill enthusiastically for more than twenty-five years and created a pub to be proud of.
The Bartons Arms
The Bartons Arms has to be one of the country's most magnificent pubs. It was built in 1901 as the flagship pub for Midlands brewer Mitchells and Butlers. It certainly would have stood out from the modest terraced houses that surrounded it; their occupants doubtless in awe at the extravagance of the interior.
The George and Dragon
The George and Dragon sits just inside the National Park, a few miles from Richmond. It's the first community-owned pub in North Yorkshire. Closed for 18 months after repossession by the bank, the community held a meeting and decided to buy it for themselves.
The Hope, Surrey
Current Sutton Camra Pub of the Year, the Hope is an unassuming community pub with a big heart. Five cask ales on offer, including a mild and a strong bitter, all kept in excellent condition. Regulars enjoy a game of darts or bar billiards (donated by the local scouts) or simply a relaxing chat with fellow drinkers.

London Skittles may soon disappear, according to the members of last surviving club in London, who play at the Freemason's Arms in Hampstead. Now London's last alley could face closure unless more members can be found to keep the game alive.
