The soft red brick of the East India Arms contrasts with the severe concrete and glass of the City surrounding it. This one bar pub is a charming and welcome oasis, selling Kent brewer Shepherd and Neame ales. The lack of seating points to the purpose of this pub, which gets tides of suited drinkers at lunchtimes and in the evening rush hours, otherwise it's a relaxing refuge from the relentless city.
