'Wow' is the usual word when coming into Branscombe village. Here sits the lovely Mason's Arms, a 14th century pub oozing old-world charm. The food's pretty good and there's up to six local ales on offer. The accommodation is pleasant, it varies depending on where you're located, either in the pub or one of the small 'cottages' in the grounds. It's a hugely popular pub - despite the twisting lanes and isolated location - and gets crowded particularly at weekends. There's a nice walk to the coast across a field and an inviting beach as a reward.
