The 16th century Queens Head inn is ideally situated in the heart of the Lake District, just north of Esthwaite Water, with Coniston and Windermere a few miles away. It's a pretty inn with slate floors, oak beams, wood panelling and welcoming open fires. Most of the produce here is locally sourced, be it pheasant. trout, hams, sausages or cheese. William Wordsworth went to the local school and Beatrix Potter lived nearby.

I'm going to England soon for a few weeks and I'd love to go here! Love Wordsworth. But put off by the Foster's umbrellas in the photo... hehe.
