The Raven is traditional free house situated in the centre of Bath. It's a must for real ale enthusiasts and is a favourite with local CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) members who have voted it their Pub of the Year, twice. You'll find six ales and a couple of ciders on offer in either the basic ground-floor bar or the smarter upstairs bar, all in peak condition. Two of the beers are brewed for them by Blindmans Brewery near Frome and there's a changing handful of guest beers. Look out for their mini beer festivals held throughout the year.
Unusually, the Raven serves their ales in 'lined' glasses ensuring a full pint. There are some decent reasonably priced wines and food-wise there's a large selection of award winning Pie Minister pies, some with amusing names such as Pietanic (with fish) and Heidi Pie (goats cheese).
