This eccentric folly was started in 1742 to mark the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Edgehill; the first battle of the English Civil War. It has a spectacular view of the battlefield and there is a helpful guide to the historic event in the garden. The Round, or Radway Tower, became an inn in 1822 and was bought by Hook Norton Brewery in 1922. Inside, the tower bars are full of memorabilia and mementos from the period. The inn also has good accommodation and the area is renowned for its walks and scenery.
